Community Feed

One of the best ways to get started is to browse through the various image galleries and see what catches your eye.

You'll find a wide variety of images, ranging from stunning landscapes and portraits to creative abstracts and graphic designs.

And the best part? All the prompts are included with the images!

Let’s dive into the Community Feed!

First, simply head to https://www.midjourney.com/ and log into your user.

Now click on the “Community Feed” tab and you’ll be able to scroll through everyone’s generations!

There we go! Now you have a full prompt that allows you to replicate an image that you liked.

Keep in mind that the point of doing this is not stealing other people’s work and prompts, it should be used as an inspiration & a starting point for a specific vision.

I never copy & paste a prompt as it is.

It should only be used as a guide towards a specific goal.

Let’s make an example:

When you click on an image, you will be able to see the prompt that was used to create it.

Here you can see how I kept the core essence of the prompt, and changed things around it to make it more personalised:

overwatch game, Full body design, Character sheet design of a medieval knight in the style of starry night

counter strike game, Full body design, Character sheet design of a swat team in the style of frank miller

It’s important when changing a prompt to understand which part of it is necessary and which part of it can be changed.

Your job is to train yourself to see which parts of the prompt are it’s “Sweet Spots”.

I personally find this prompt incredibly easy to figure out, I highlighted the “Sweet Spot” for you:

Think of the "sweet spot" as the pliable part of the prompt that you can mold and shape without altering the core structure and purpose of the original prompt.

It's like a clay sculpture - you can add and subtract pieces without changing the overall form.

With that said, go jump on the community feed and get some inspiration while you test yourself out!

With time and experience you’ll learn how to manipulate and recognize more complicated sweet spots in different prompts.

Now that we have identified the recurring Sweet Spot we can manipulate the prompt to our will!
