Forbes Israel named Yonatan Dor, co-founder and CEO of The Dor Brothers, to its prestigious 30 Under 30 list for 2026. At 28, Dor leads the AI creative studio from Lisbon with an international team of roughly 30 creators, producing work that has collectively surpassed one billion views.
From metal albums to Times Square
Dor started making music at 14, recording a metal album in his bedroom and searching for a visual language to match. A decade later his videos screen on Times Square, draw hundreds of millions of views and attract names like Snoop Dogg, Hugo Boss, Logan Paul and Grimes. He was among the first 100 users of Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, discovering generative AI in early 2022 and working 12-hour days with tools before they even open to the public.
Having a good camera does not make you Tarantino, he tells Forbes Israel. The point is knowing how to make people feel something.
Integrity over propaganda
Despite political figures approaching the studio to produce propaganda content, Dor has refused. There is a lot of money in the industry and many who are willing to do anything, he says, but we are very clear about what we want to create. He testified before the US Senate on AI and creativity, positioning the studio as a voice for responsible use of generative tools.
Feature films ahead
Dor plans to move into full-length cinema, continue collaborating with top-tier musicians and artists, and push the boundaries of what counts as filmmaking. In a world where almost anything is technically possible, he argues, taste, creative judgment and artistic stance are what separate another viral clip from work that lasts.
