Digital Camera World interviewed Yonatan about The Dor Brothers' creative process in generating hyper-realistic AI videos featuring public figures. The skill, he explains, is knowing which tools work best for different effects and cinematic styles.
Using tools like Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and Grok, the team builds videos where the editorial craft matters more than the prompt. Yonatan pushes back on the idea that AI production is easy, arguing that the knowledge of what to use and when separates professional output from amateur experiments.
On regulation and creative freedom
He addresses concerns about AI regulation head on, arguing that heavy censorship could create worse outcomes than balanced approaches. The goal is responsible use, not restriction of creative tools.
Films over sales
The team's primary ambition is securing investment for a television series about AI and humanity's future. As Yonatan puts it, I do not want to sell this thing, I just want to make cool art.
